design, fashion, artisan technique and technology in permanent interaction.

designed by Marc Sadler
biography
Marc Sadler explores the infinite possibilities of Slamp’s technopolymers with Accordèon, conjuring the image of a textile plissé or an accordion’s bellows. The collection is a sure marker of the new contemporary narrative that sees design, fashion, artisan technique and technology in permanent interaction. The LED crown, in 2.700 or 3.000 kelvin according to choice, reaches up to 5.700 lumen, and can be dimmed.

Tech details

The above information, also provided in the Technical Data Sheet, refers to electrical standards with a voltage of 110-220V.

The electrical installation components and other accessories may vary depending on the regulations of different countries; please contact us for more information.

The wattage of the light bulbs is suggested for an optimal balance between luminous output and product aesthetics and should not be considered as the maximum power that can be installed on the product. Where explicitly recommended, please follow the indicated bulb size and/or diameter.

Lamps marked as dimmable are intended to be so only if the electrical system has been prepared for such light variation. This is different for floor lamps and battery-powered lamps marked as dimmable, as their dimmer is integrated.

Hand-Molded Patented Process
Technoforming, a material manipulation technique using heat, was developed with Marc Sadler for the Accordéon, Tulip, and LaFleur collections. Slamp’s technopolymer is brought to a softened state and then hand-manipulated - allowing it to give life, with a hi-tech material, to unique pieces and shapes that are never mechanically reproducible.
